Lead Measures

Execution

WE USE DIET AND EXERCISE AS AN EXAMPLE OF A LEAD MEASURE MOVING THE LAG MEASURE OF WEIGHT LOSS.

Or your kids’ homework average and the number of hours they spent studying as a lead measure for moving the lag measure of grades, and everybody gets this.

Sometimes there is a tendency for people to think, “Well everybody already knows that!” And that’s actually, kinda the point. Everybody does know diet and exercise, what everybody doesn’t know is how many calories they have eaten today or how many calories they have burned.

Every kid knows, “I have to do my homework and I have to study.” But how many parents know what their kids’ current homework average is or how many hours they spent studying last week.

There is a giant difference between knowing a thing and knowing the data behind that thing.
